Persuasive Writing {freebie}

Hello!  Hello!  It’s Thursday- one day closer to the weekend 🙂  This week in writing we have been generating persuasive letters.  The kids are doing an excellent job!  We started out by organizing our writing ideas onto this graphic organizer.

The following day we transferred our writing ideas onto our letter paper.  We wrote to our parents persuading them to so we could have dogs, cats, go to Disney Land, go camping, and more!  The students’ letters included a problem sentence and two persuading sentences.

We can organize our writing ideas and write persuassive letters!

I think she got the words want & will confused 🙂


I also just finished some long over due projects!  See below!

I LOVE these writing picture starters!  They are great for Daily 5 Work on Writing folders or any other form of independent writing folder.  Kindergarteners struggle with coming up with their own writing ideas so these give them a head start!
